Newcastle United are determined not to lose Jacob Murphy this summer.
Sky Sports says Newcastle are keen to hold further talks with Murphy as they bid to fend off interest in the versatile 26-year-old.
Murphy was a standout player for the Magpies last season but he has just 12 months remaining on his deal at St James' Park.
The Englishman has caught the eyes of Burnley and Porto, but Newcastle will press forward with negotiations over a contract extension.
