Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford could be a surprise penalty taker for the Three Lions at Euro 2020.
Gareth Southgate's team are preparing for their round of 16 clash with Germany on Tuesday at Wembley.
The game could go to penalties if the sides are level after 90 minutes and an additional 30 minutes of extra time.
Midfielder Kalvin Phillips believes Pickford should be taking one of the penalties if the game goes to a shootout.
"He's a very clean striker of the ball," he said.
"It makes it a lot easier when you have a keeper who could probably score a free-kick as well as a penalty."
