PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino is aiming to trump Arsenal's plans to sign Brighton defender Ben White.
Arsenal have already had an opening offer of £40million rejected by Brighton – and the French giants are now poised to step in, says the Mirror.
It is understood the Seagulls will only consider offers in excess of £50m for the England defender.
That will leave Arsenal to decide whether or not they can justify such a sum on the player. And, if they cannot, it will leave the door wide open for Pochettino's oil-rich PSG.
Poch kept close tabs on White, 23, during his loan spell with Leeds and received glowing reports from his own former manager Marcelo Bielsa, who worked with the player at Elland Road.
