Manchester City plan to enter new contract talks with Raheem Sterling after the Euros.

Sterling has shone for England over the tournament, Tuesday's crucial opener against Germany his third goal in four games.

The forward has two years left to run on his existing deal at the Etihad Stadium, which can reach £300,000 a week if certain bonuses are hit, says the Daily Mail.

City are calm about that situation but are preparing to sit down with the 26-year-old over the summer to hold talks over his future.

Sterling is conducting all negotiations surrounding his career himself, aided by two lawyers.

Last season proved a personal disappointment for Sterling, who had lost his place in Pep Guardiola's preferred starting XI towards the end of the campaign before a surprise inclusion for the Champions League final defeat by Chelsea in Porto.
