Vincenzo Italiano has signed a new deal with Spezia.
The coach had been linked with a move away after the end of the season.
Italiano had been linked with Sassuolo, Lazio and others, but has committed himself to Spezia until 2023 with a pay rise, earning just over €1m per season.
He guided Spezia to Serie A safety after promotion last season.
Spezia have also announced that they have activated the purchase option on midfielder Leo Sena following his loan from Atletico Mineiro.
