Aston Villa have announced the departure of Bjorn Engels for Royal Antwerp.
Villa have confirmed that Engels has completed a move to Royal Antwerp.
The transfer was subject to a medical, which has now taken place successfully, after the clubs reached an agreement last week.
The Belgian centre-back joined from Reims in the summer of 2019 and has made 19 appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal in his maiden season.
Engels also played his part in helping the club secure our top flight status during the 2019/20 season, our first campaign back in the Premier League.
