Newcastle United have been offered the chance to sign Josh King.
The former Bournemouth striker has left Everton after an unsuccessful spell on Merseyside that saw him appear 11 times in the Premier League as a substitute with zero goals.
King, who Magpies boss Steve Bruce wanted to sign 12 months ago, is now looking for a new club.
According to Chronicle Live, Newcastle have been offered the player, as King shares the same agency as current Magpies striker Joelinton.
Signing King on a free transfer may appeal to Newcastle given their limited summer transfer budget.
