Newcastle United are eager to sign Benfica star Rafa Silva.
Per the Sunday Mirror, the Magpies are in front of other teams in the race to sign the winger.
Silva, who impressed during substitute appearances for Portugal at Euro 2020, is valued at roughly £30 million by his club.
Newcastle may not be willing to go that high for the player, but they do have a serious interest in the man who has scored 46 goals and managed 32 assists in 182 games for Benfica.
The 28-year-old is known for his speed, dribbling and creativity, and would add qualities to the Newcastle team that are only possessed by Frenchman Allan Saint-Maximin.
