Manchester United midfielder Hannibal Mejbri feels he needs to improve his strength and conditioning if he's to make the first team.

Mejbri was fouled 86 times in 22 games that WyScout gathered data from the Under-23s last season and he was sent off against Derby last month for demanding an opponent be booked.

This is what Mejbri told the United website about his development, and getting stronger: "I feel in a bit better shape, strength-wise. And I feel I can withstand the knocks and tough challenges a bit more easily. It's going well.

"We work hard on muscle-building stuff in the gym. I discuss it a lot with the coach and he told me I was a bit on the frail side when I arrived but I'm fine now.

"I've bulked out a bit but I still need to keep working on it."
