Manchester United legend Eric Cantona is backing supporters as they seek fan ownership of the team.
Many Red Devils supporters are unhappy with the club's owning family, the Glazers.
A scheme is being set up by the Manchester United Supporters Trust, or MUST, that would give supporters a chance to buy into a new class of shares set up by the Glazer family.
Cantona added his voice to the debate, saying in an advert, per Goal.com: "Yes my friends, I have signed for United again."
MUST announced the Frenchman as the first person to sign up for the initiative.
