West Ham boss David Moyes has admitted his admiration for PSV Eindhoven striker Donyell Malen.

The former Arsenal youth teamer has established himself with PSV as one of the most coveted young attackers on the continent.

The Holland international could be cashed in by PSV this summer and Hammers manager Moyes admits he's a fan.

In the process of finalising a new three-year deal with West Ham, Moyes has discussed transfer targets with the board, which include the need to replace Sebastian Haller after the striker's January sale to Ajax.

And Moyes has talked up Malen in his preview for the Euros, writing for The Times: "Malen is an interesting player to watch who falls in the emerging talent category.

"Malen will probably start the European Championship as a backup to Memphis Depay, but he scored 27 goals for PSV last season.

"Malen played as a youngster at Arsenal and is attracting the attention of the Premier League.

"In terms of style, he is probably closer to Depay than Ruud van Nistelrooy."
