Borussia Dortmund defender Thomas Meunier has recalled clashing with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez over Eden Hazard last season.
Meunier, when with PSG, famously injured Hazard in a tackle during a Champions League clash in 2019.
Speaking with RTBF, he recalled a later meeting with Florentino.
"We met, I extended my hand to him and I said: 'Delighted'. He answered me in French: 'Nice to meet you? Do you realise what you did? You hurt Hazard and you tell me delighted'.
"I got p***ed off and said, 'Did I hurt Hazard?' Is it my fault he's hurt?'.
"Florentino told me yes. I told him it was a tackle like any other."
