Atalanta have set their asking price for Cristian Romero.
The Bergamo outfit are expected to sign centre-back Romero on a permanent deal after his successful loan spell from Juventus last season.
Juve included an option-to-buy clause in the loan, which would see Romero sign for Atalanta at a cost of €16m.
According to Tuttosport, Manchester United are then interested in buying Romero from Atalanta.
The Red Devils are willing to offer €45m for the Argentina international.
However, Atalanta want closer to €60m.
It is unclear if United are willing to raise their offer for the 23-year-old as they weigh up their centre-back options this summer.
