Barcelona have made contact with Borussia Monchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter.
Sky Deutschland says Barca made contact with Ginter after Germany's 1-0 Euros defeat to France earlier this week. Ginter, 27, played the full 90 on the night.
The defender's deal with Gladbach runs to 2022, meaning the Bundesliga outfit could be forced to sell this summer.
Barca are in the market for a ball-playing centre-half and have been linked with Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte.
And Ginter is now emerging as another option for president Joan Laporta's front office.
