Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta confirmed that Emile Smith Rowe would not be leaving the club this summer.
The 20-year-old is wanted by Aston Villa, who have already put in multiple bids for the creative attacking midfielder.
However, Arsenal will offer Smith Rowe a new deal and they expect him to eventually sign the contract.
"Without a question. Yes. He will stay here. 100%," Arteta said in quotes published by The Athletic.
When asked about Villa's interest, the manager replied: "No comment."
