Kurt Zouma is thwarting Chelsea's plans for Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.
The Daily Mail says Chelsea's hopes of signing Kounde from Sevilla have been dashed, with Zouma unwilling to move the other way.
The Frenchman has expressed his reluctance to join the La Liga club in a £50million deal which would see his compatriot join the Blues.
Kounde is one of the most highly-rated centre-backs in La Liga and Chelsea were believed to be in pole position for the 22-year-old.
