But The Sun says they have been priced out of a move for Denmark centre-half Joachim Andersen, 25, after he impressed for Fulham on loan last season.
Parent club Lyon want around £26million.
Andersen has heard of potential Tottenham interest but may now find they will look elsewhere.
OL, meanwhile, are eager to get Andersen off the books this summer.
