Chelsea are opening new contract talks with Jorginho.
The Daily Star says this year has been a highly successful one so far for Jorginho, who played a key part in Chelsea's Champions League triumph before winning Euro 2020 with Italy earlier this month.
The midfielder only has two years remaining on his current Blues contract, but Fabrizio Romano claims talks are underway over a potential extension.
Romano revealed on his Here We Go podcast that Stamford Bridge officials are desperate for Jorginho to stay beyond 2023, although he admits an extension will "take some time".
