Liverpool have announced the shirt number of new signing Ibrahima Konate.
Liverpool have this morning announced Konate will take the number five shirt at Anfield for the upcoming campaign.
Konate, who joined from RB Leipzig on July 1st, will take the shirt that was left vacant after Gini Wijnaldum's five-year stay at Anfield came to an end at the start of this month, as he joined French side PSG.
Liverpool begin their pre-season training on the 12th of July, and Konate is expected to link up with his new teammates at Kirkby on the first day back, as Jurgen Klopp looks to get his newest addition settled in as quickly as possible.
