Stuart Dallas recognises he's now a locker room leader at Leeds United.
The midfielder has penned a new deal to 2024 with Leeds.
One of the more experienced players in the side, the versatile midfielder and defender wants to make sure he can help the younger players within the squad to realise their potential at Leeds United.
He told the club's website: “I am 30 now, but I have been about the club and I know what it means to people to represent this club. I know what it means to the fans and how much it means to them to have a team that wants to play for the club.
“I feel that there is a number of us in this group that are leaders, maybe not on the pitch the loudest, but off the pitch we can put our arm around the young players when they need it and try to give advice.
“Obviously, we can learn off them as well, they are very enthusiastic and there is a lot of talent, they keep pushing us as well.
“It's important that us senior lads keep the group together, that's a huge part of what we are about, we have a fantastic group of players here and everyone is really close to each other, that is what is needed to keep this club going in the right direction."
