There were a lot of smiles and joking seen as new manager Benitez took his first preseason training session at Everton's Finch Farm.
The Spaniard addressed his players as a squad several times inbetween drills and also was seen in conversation regularly with new assistant coach Duncan Ferguson.
Among the returnees was a fully fit James Rodriguez and Andre Gomes.
