Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is set to promote from within for his third-choice goalkeeper.
Marca says with Thibaut Courtois and Andriy Lunin established as the first- and second-choice goalkeepers respectively, two youngsters from Castilla look set to battle it out for the vacant position behind the pair: Toni Fuidias and Luis Lopez.
Whilst both have trained regularly with the first team since the 2019/20 season and played a key role in the UEFA Youth League triumph that season, Ancelotti looks set to make a decision on which of the goalkeepers will be his third-choice option.
The decision Ancelotti will make his decision in the coming days over two goalkeepers who shared goalkeeping duties for Castilla last season.
