Mancini oversaw Italy's triumph, where they kept their cool to win a penalty shootout against Spain after the score had finished 1-1 after extra-time.
The Italy coach says reaching the final was due to everyone who had worked with him and his team over the past three years of qualifying and was happy to silence their early tournament critics.
