PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and sporting director Leonardo are in direct contact with Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

Now inside the final 12 months of his United contract, Pogba's future is set to come into focus in the coming weeks.

Al-Khelaifi met with Pogba's agent in Nice last month to confirm his interest and Foot Mercato says he is now in direct contact with the player.

Both the president and Leonardo have detailed their project to Pogba - and the midfielder is impressed.

Al-Khelaifi has also told Raiola he's prepared to cover the wage demands of Pogba, so long as United keep their asking price reasonable.

Indeed, despite Juventus also being keen, it's now suggested Pogba favours a move to Paris this summer.
