Former Lyon striker Depay passed his medical on Monday and joined in training with his new Barca teammates on Tuesday morning.
It meant a reunion for Depay with his former Holland coach Ronald Koeman, who fought hard to bring the striker to Barca this summer.
There was no special treatment for Depay as he took part in a full-scale training session - his first for preseason.
