Liverpool and Manchester United have joined the battle for Lyon's available midfielder Houssem Aouar.
ESPN says Liverpool and United have joined Tottenham and Arsenal in registering their interest in the 23-year-old midfielder.
Liverpool have been following Aouar's progress with Lyon for some time, and could be tempted to make an offer this summer.
However, they add that Liverpool's relationship with Lyon has not been the same since the failed deal to bring Nabil Fekir to Anfield.
Lyon are prepared to sell Aouar for €20-25m.
