England defeated Ukraine 4-0 in the quarterfinal to set up a semifinal against the Czech Republic at Wembley.
Southgate admits playing in Rome and at the Stadio Olimpico acted as inspiration for his players. He was also full of praise for his substitutes, who maintained the team's momentum on the night.
