Manchester United are still eager to sign Kieran Trippier from Atletico Madrid.
The Red Devils do have Aaron Wan-Bissaka as their first choice right back.
However, the club's over-reliance on the youngster means a move for the experienced and more attack minded Trippier may be on the cards.
According to talkSPORT, United cannot agree a fee with Atletico, who do not want to sell Trippier for a budget fee after he helped them to win La Liga last season.
Manager Diego Simeone is a fan of Trippier after improving his game from a defensive standpoint.
The long serving manager knows a replacement would cost Atletico a big fee, which is why any cut price deal seems unlikely this summer.
