Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet is being linked with Everton.
Fichajes.com says new Everton manager Rafa Benitez has asked the Toffees' board to sign Barcelona and France defender Lenglet.
Benitez, appointed in controversial circumstances due to his Liverpool connections last week, wants to sign the left-footed centre-back to improve the Goodison Park rear guard as Barcelona look for ways to fund Lionel Messi's new contract.
The Merseyside club may only have to pay €20 million (£17.1m) for the Frenchman, who arrived from Sevilla in 2018 and has been a solid member of the Blaugrana's back line since.
