Hellas Verona are already seeking a permanent deal for Manchester City loan signing Ivan Ilic.
Sky Italia says Ilic, 20, impressed on loan at Verona last season, and the club are keen to keep him on loan for another year - however, that situation is said to be complicated as Torino are keen to reunite him with former Hellas boss Ivan Juric.
So Verona want to sign Ilic permanently to beat Torino to his signing.
With a year left on his contract, City could look to cash in while there is interest as they continue to raise funds from player sales.
