Crystal Palace have allowed ELEVEN players to come off contract today.

Palace have let the contracts of 11 senior players expire with their futures now uncertain.

The club stalled over offering new deals amid the departure of Roy Hodgson, but incoming boss Patrick Vieira could now be left with a depleted squad.

Wayne Hennessey, Stephen Henderson, Joel Ward, Nathaniel Clyne, Gary Cahill, Mahamadou Sakho, Scott Dann, Patrick Van Aanholt, James McCarthy, Andros Townsend and Conor Wickham are now officially free agents.

All players are free to discuss terms with other clubs in a remarkably cavalier strategy by Palace.
