Roma are pushing for Chelsea fullback Marcos Alonso.
Il Tempo says after the untimely injury to Leonardo Spinazzola that has ruled him out for 12 months, Roma are looking to sign a left-back.
The Serie A outfit are eyeing moves for both Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri.
The latter joined the Blues from Roma but has failed to make much of an impression and has been priced at €16m despite having a year left on his contract.
However, the Stamford Bridge side would prefer Alonso to leave - who has higher wages yet a lesser role in the first-team.
Jose Mourinho is a big admirer of the Spaniard but, due to club finances, might have to look at cheaper targets.
