Celtic are interested in Manchester City defender Ko Itakura.
The Daily Record says Itakura has completed a two-year loan at Groningen.
Celtic are interested in signing the 24-year-old centre-back, but City would ask for a 'substantial loan fee' amid what they say is plenty of interest from other European clubs.
Itakura has a year left on his City deal and is currently at the Olympics with Japan.
