LONDON – With the Euro 2020 done and dusted, the transfer windows has taken the front seat in the football world.

With that said, Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund has sent a warning to European Champions League winners, Chelsea over their prized asset Erling Haaland.

The Blues want to sign a number nine during this window and Haaland is their top target. Other options are reported to be Romelu Lukaku and Harry Kane.

According to reports in London, signing Haaland would be a ‘mission impossible” for Chelsea as the German club is not prepared to part ways with their top striker.

The Norwegian player has become one of the most coveted players in the world after scoring 48 times in 51 games for club and country last season.

Despite Chelsea preparing an opening offer, Dortmund have their mind set up on what the outcome of that opening offer will be.

"Chelsea are trying but it is going to be very difficult," said reports in London.

“At the moment it looks like mission impossible. It is unlikely but that doesn't mean it can't happen." – Agencies July 14, 2021.
