Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney is offering a lifeline to Ravel Morrison at Derby County.
Morrison is a former United youth team star whose career never lived up to its initial promise.
The 28-year-old has spent time at West Ham, Lazio and Sheffield United, along with loan moves to Birmingham, QPR, Cardiff and Middlesbrough during his career.
Now he is training with the Rams and is hoping to impress enough to gain a move to the club or another team in the Championship, per The Sun.
Derby currently have transfer restrictions in place, which means a budget signing such as Morrison may suit their plans as well.
