Liverpool have failed with a massive offer for Juventus star Fede Chiesa.
La Repubblica reports that Liverpool have had a €100m bid for Chiesa rejected by Juventus.
The winger, 23, was crucial for Italy in their Euro 2020 triumph and is now highly sought-after, with Chelsea and Bayern Munich previously linked.
Although still partially owned by Fiorentina, Jurgen Klopp's side are said to have tabled an offer to the Bianconeri for the dynamo.
Chelsea made a similar bid for Chiesa last week.
