Tottenham are rivaling Wolves' interest for Sporting CP midfielder Joao Palhinha.
Record says Tottenham may have to stump up at least £51million should they decide to firm up interest in Palhinha.
Spurs and Premier League rivals Wolves are thought to be interested in the Sporting Lisbon midfielder.
It is thought the player whose contract runs out in June 2025 has a release clause of £51m.
Palhinha, who played in two Euros 2020 games for Portugal, made 38 appearances for Sporting across all competitions last term.
