Liverpool should be the club with the strongest interest in Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
That is according to pundit and former Leeds right back Danny Mills.
The ex-defender believes that Kane's ability to drop deep and play passes into other forwards would be devastating next to the likes of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah at Anfield this season.
Manchester City are the club with the strongest interest in Kane, but even they are struggling to match Spurs' £150 million valuation.
"Harry Kane would fit them perfect in the way that he plays," Mills told TalkSPORT about Liverpool.
"That slightly deeper role, the nine-and-a-half position, the way that he drops in sometimes.
"If you had Mane going down one side, Salah down the other and Kane down the middle, the chances he would create for them and the chances they would create for him… it would be perfect.
"He's not going there but he would be the perfect fit. The way that they play, [signing] a centre forward who is going to get you 20-plus goals a season would mean that they are back up at the top of the league immediately.
"The way that Harry Kane plays… yeah, we know he's the No 9, but he does drop deep. Look at the amount of assists he got last season, plus the amount of goals.
"Look who he was playing with. Son is a fantastic player, but playing [at Liverpool] with two quality players either side of him, that would be unbelievable.
"In terms of fit, I think Liverpool would be the best for him, Harry Kane. Do I think he will go there? No."
