Manchester United pair Jesse Lingard and Diogo Dalot have no idea where they stand in manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's plans.

The Manchester Evening News says despite Solskjaer's public assurances, Lingard has yet to receive any guarantees with West Ham still heavily linked with a move.

The Hammers brought the best out of the midfielder last term, as he rediscovered his form under David Moyes.

West Ham would love to re-sign the 28-year-old, but are unwilling to match the £25million valuation his parent club have set.

Similarly, Dalot is also reportedly being left in the dark about the club's plans for him after a proposed move for Kieran Trippier broke down.

That means the Portuguese will likely be retained as cover for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, but with just over a week to go, both players would surely prefer some guarantees.
