Olympique Marseille supremo Pablo Longoria has left the door open to signing permanently William Saliba.
The young French defender has arrived on a season-long loan without an option to buy.
However at Saliba's presentation yesterday, Longoria insists a new deal could be negotiated should everything go well.
He stated: "On William, we have to talk to Arsenal later in the season.
"If we talk about a loan with or without an option, we always end up negotiating. We are aware of his potential."
