Olympique Marseille supremo Pablo Longoria has welcomed new signing William Saliba.
The young French defender has arrived on a season-long loan without an option to buy.
At yesterday's presentation, Longoria said: "Each transfer has a story. For William, it went very well, we had a lot of fun and we had very good conversations. William is a player with extraordinary potential, one of the best modern centre-backs in Europe.
"He has the ability to win duels, he has everything to succeed at a very high level. He has the specifications for the team system. I would like to thank him because we kept our word. It gives me great pleasure to have this type of conversation with a player."
