Released Arsenal defender David Luiz is in talks to sign Benfica.
Luiz played with Benfica between 2007 and 2011 before leaving for Chelsea.
Now he can return to Benfica. The parties are currently in negotiations.
Benfica coach Jorge Jesus has approved the deal, says Goal. Luiz will be offered a contract for the season.
The only thing that could stop the move is that Luiz would prefer a longer contract.
