Brighton defender Adam Webster was delighted for Shane Duffy after his goal in victory over Watford.
Duffy's first goal since the 2-0 win over Norwich in November 2019 was followed by another from Neal Maupay as Albion wrapped up the points in the first half.
“You could see in the celebrations that everyone was absolutely buzzing for Shane, he's such a great character," said Webster to the club's website.
"He's done a lot for this football club and it's nice to see him back and playing well. As soon as he came back in this season it was like he was a new signing. He's started really well and is playing with a lot of confidence."
Webster also had a word of praise for Neal Maupay, who scored his second of the campaign before going off with a shoulder injury.
“He deserved his goal, he does a lot for the team and leads the line well," added Webster. Sometimes those positions can be trickier than they look when you're one-against-one with the keeper. If I was up there I might have tried to pass but he showed what a good finisher he is, there was no doubt in his mind when he put it away."
