ESPN says it is no secret that Liverpool are looking to offload several fringe players this summer.
Xherdan Shaqiri, Divock Origi, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlin and Loris Karius could all leave if the right offer arrives.
Keita is also among those who are deemed expendable if the price is right.
Keita only made 16 appearances for the Reds last season in a campaign that was interrupted by injury, but it would still be a huge surprise to see him depart Anfield just three years after making a £52million move from RB Leipzig.
