Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta would not be drawn on speculation linking his side with Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

The young English shot-stopper is emerging as a key target for the Gunners late in this transfer window.

Several reputable English sources have reported Arsenal will go back in with another bid for Ramsdale, while the Blades want £30 million.

"I don't know what will happen. We train with the players we have that are available. We try to improve the team with players. The window is still open," Arteta said when asked about Ramsdale following ihs side's 1-0 defeat to Tottenham in a preseason friendly.

Arsenal do have first choice keeper Bernd Leno in place ahead of the new season, which means any move for Ramsdale may not be time sensitive.
