Ryan Sessegnon made his return to action as Tottenham U23s fought back to clinch a draw with Chelsea U23s on Monday.
Spurs boss Nuno has promised to involve Sessegnon this season after his successful loan spell at Hoffenheim.
A hamstring injury hampered Sessegnon's progress in preseason, but the 21-year-old was in full flight against the Blues in the Premier League 2 clash.
Chelsea led 2-0 at the interval thanks to a double from England U17 international forward Harvey Vale.
But Spurs fought back in the second half to steal a point thanks to goals from Dilan Markanday and J'Neil Bennett.
