Chelsea fullback Emerson Palmieri has welcomed interest from Napoli.
Emerson played for Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti at Roma and is aware the Azzurri are keen.
He told ESPN Brasil: "Knowing the interest of Napoli is nice, it's a great club. I'm even happier, also because I played little last season with Chelsea.
"Future? I will choose the option that I consider best, I still have a few days to think about all the possibilities, to choose the right place where I will feel really desired.
"Spalletti in Roma was the coach who gave me the opportunity to get involved. It is not easy to have patience with a young boy in an important team like Rome.
"He is a wise coach, a friend, every now and then we talk, he also wished me a happy birthday at the beginning of August."
