Chelsea fullback Emerson Palmieri is full of pride being a Euro 2020 winner.
Emerson helped Italy win the Euros this summer, stepping in after Roma left-back Leandro Spinazzola suffered an achilles injury during the tournament.
He told ESPN Brasil: "I was sorry for Spinazzola's injury. When I saw the injury I immediately understood the seriousness.
"I got in there with the right mind and I played in his place. I worked hard to get to play this European Championship.
"It created a fantastic environment, difficult to find a group like this. We were all united. It seemed to us that it all ended too soon: we were together 40 days but to everyone it seemed only one week."
