Arsenal have agreed a deal in principle for Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.
The Gunners will pay an initial £24m for the Englishman, according to Sky Sports.
The fee might rise by £6m in add-ons depending on whether Ramsdale becomes Arsenal's long-term No 1.
Bournemouth are owed 15 per cent sell on of anything over £19m.
Ramsdale's signing will precipitate the departure of backup goalkeeper Alex Runarsson.
The 23-year-old was absent for the clash West Bromwich Albion in Sky Bet Championship on Wednesday.
"We felt he was not ready for the game," Blades boss Slavisa Jokanovic told Sky Sports.
"We took the decision not to use him for the game.
"He's simply not in the right state of the mind. We prefer not to complicate things and start with Mike (Verrips)."
