Brentford have completed a tricky 3-1 win over Forest Green in the Carabao Cup second-round.
The newly promoted Bees have enjoyed an impressive start to the season, taking four points from their opening two games.
Confidence will be flowing in west London after advancing to the third-round thanks to second-half goals from Yoane Wissa, Bryan Mbeumo and Marcus Forss.
The League Two visitors put up a brave fight after going ahead early through Jack Aitchison.
But they were ultimately overpowered by Brentford after Wissa equalised with 60 minutes on the clock.
Bees boss Thomas Frank said after the game: "I need to praise Forest Green Rovers, Rob Edwards and his staff, I think they did a top job and I think they were the better side in the first half.
"We made nine changes and changed the formation as well, maybe that didn't help, maybe I didn't help the boys as much as I should have done.
"Football games are 90 minutes, so maybe we wanted to do something at the beginning, hoped that it would work better, but sometimes there are different moments in the game that change the momentum of the game.
"We'd like to go as far as possible and then find that balance between how strong a team we put out there depending upon the opponent."
